Our Vision Statement
To become one of the leading churches that spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world broken by sin and restore the relationship between God and man.
2019 Running Vision Statement
A year of Possibilities: Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
John 11:40 KJV
We are currently located in the City of Garland in Dallas County, in the State of Texas. Harvest International Church (HIC) represents, as nearly as possible, the body of Christ as described in the New Testament. It recognizes the principles inherent in the Body as also inherent in this Fellowship, particularly the principles of unity, cooperation, and equality. It recognizes that these principles will enable it to achieve its priority reason for being as an agency of God for evangelizing the world, as a corporate body in which man may worship God, and as a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son.
Harvest International Church has witnessed a continued growth under the excellent leadership of Senior Pastor Emanuel Sundire. Pastor Sundire later took over and has led the congregation up until now. With the coming in of Pastor Sundire, the vision for the church was refocused hence the change in the name from Pentecostal Harvest Church to Harvest International Church. Senior Pastor Emanuel Sundire has demonstrated a proven history of integrity and leadership. He has a heart for ministry in an urban community. He has a desire to develop cross-cultural ministries and an outreach beyond the Church Campus.
Harvest International Church is a church that has been born to enhance and stand alongside the other ministries that preceded it. It is also worth pointing out that the heart, soul, and mind of HIC is not to compete with other ministries but rather is happy, willing and sincere in wanting to work alongside any God-fearing ministry in Dallas and beyond. It is very encouraging for us to know that there are other ministries and ordained servants of God who also wish us well and take time to pray for us.
The spiritual direction of HIC rests with Senior Pastor Emanuel Sundire. God has tasked upon him to unveil a vision and a new campus to guide this ministry forward. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish or are restrained…” It is Senior Pastors prayer that all can embrace the vision and run with it for the benefit of the Kingdom of God.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 says “…Record the vision and inscribe it on the tablets that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time, it hastens towards the goal and it will not fail, though it tarries, wait for it, for it will certainly come, it will not delay.”
Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15-18. These scriptures are popularly known as “The Great Commission” which is undisputed so that those who will read it may run with it.
It is Senior Pastor Sundire’s vision to see the church striving to win lost souls for the Kingdom of God by using biblically approved principles. 1 Cor 9:26-27 and 2 Timothy 2:1-5 hold valuable principles for a church that strives for a goal with purposes. The church will run organized evangelistic campaigns in the metroplex and beyond. When you strive, you do not give up or surrender.
Becoming a Member at HIC
At HIC, we believe that every Christian should be planted in a local Church where they will grow, flourish and be fruitful (Psalm 92:12-15). We should be involved in a local Church where we can encourage one another (Hebrews 10:24-25).
To enable you to make the right choice as you consider if HIC is the Church for you, we will explain to you our vision, values, and why we do what we do.
